High School Youth Event: Tubing at Seven Oaks!
NEW DATE for snow tubing outing at Seven Oaks near Boone. We have moved the date to avoid conflict with the FFA bowling party, because we have so many kids in both groups. We don’t want you to have to choose, and with the remaining tubing time slots left, it was not going to work to do both.

About The Event
We have purchased a chunk of tickets in advance to secure our time slot, but may need to add a few more. Please use the Sign Up Genius link to let us know for sure that you are planning to attend:

Here’s what that Sunday will look like:
11:00 a.m. – Eat lunch at church
11:30 a.m. – Depart LPC
1:30 p.m. – Arrive in Boone, check in, gear up
2:00 p.m. – Snow tubing for 2 hours
4:00 p.m. – Depart Boone, head to Hickory Park in Ames for ice cream
7:00 p.m. (approximately) – Return to LPC
PARENTS! We may need an extra driver or two. If you are interested, or just want to come along for fun, there’s a slot for you, too. [And you are welcome to go tubing, too – although there's nothing wrong with watching the action and hanging out in the cozy, heated lodge].
There also are a few slots to help out with lunch, which we will eat before we go. And if a couple of parents could sign up to make sure our lunch is cleaned up after we depart, that also would be great!!
All expenses will be covered by the youth group.
Please DRESS WARM!!! – Boots, snow pants, heavy coat, hat, gloves, etc. It is going to be pretty chilly that day, so you might also want a face covering – scarf or ski mask.
