Itsa is a mother and child ministry that contributes to the spiritual growth of children through participation in Sunday School, planning out and teaching at VBS, and a variety of other fellowship activities. Church members donate their time, staying with our children once a month so mothers can have more intimate, spiritually based conversations. Young families are the future of our church. We welcome you and your young kids to join us. We typically meet at the church at 9 am on Fridays. All are welcome.
Children from age 3 to the 8th grade are invited to gather after Sunday morning worship through the school year for lessons and music fellowship.
Each summer, American Lutheran church partners with other local churches to organize host a vacation bible school. The themes change each year, but a fun time of worship and fellowship is assured.
The 9th-12th grade youth help assist and lead worship the third Sunday of each month. They meet at 8:00 a.m. before worship on the third Sunday of the month. They are preparing for the ELCA Youth Gathering in 2018 to Houston. The theme is, "This Changes Everything."
CHURCH CHOIR rehearses each Sunday at 10:15 am during the school year. All church adults are welcome.
TONE CHIME CHOIR practices on Wednesday evenings from 7-8 pm. during the school year. This group does not read music (we follow a number system. It's easy!) This is a multi-generational group. Anyone from 4th grade to adult is welcome.
