God's Work. Our Hands. Sunday

About the event

Service activities offer an opportunity for us to explore one of our  most basic convictions as Lutherans: that all of life in Jesus Christ –  every act of service, in every daily calling, in every corner of life –  flows freely from a living, daring confidence in God’s grace. After our 9 am worship service, our Sunday School hour will include LWR (Lutheran World Relief) school kit assembly and some service stations for the adults ...

STATION 1) THANK YOU CARDS

Use our hands to thank others who use their hands to support our community. Thank you notes will be available to personalize and send to community members (ex: fire, police, teachers, council members, etc.) for their service to our community.

STATION 2) TIME & TALENTS SURVEY

Share your gifts and abilities in our ministry and mission by completing a Time and Talent survey.

STATION 3) FOOD PANTRY DONATIONS

Our local food pantry needs several items. Please bring an item or two from this list to church with you next week. The list of current needs includes:

  • Chunky soup-stew or hearty      style
  • Canned tuna, Canned Chicken
  • Toilet Paper
  • Dish Soap
  • Crackers (NOT saltines)
  • Peanut Butter

  • Box Cereals: Flakes, rice      krispies, froot loops

STATION 6)

Leave your mark. There are many hands supporting a lot of good works in our congregation. Make a handprint to commemorate this Sunday! We’ll display them all together to remind us how we work together.
