Rise Up with Jesus! Easter Event for Families

American Lutheran Church will host a Rise Up With Jesus Easter event for families Wednesday evening, April 5. We'll start with evening with a potluck supper for fun and fellowship! Then, during this one and a half hour interactive program, kids and grown-ups alike will experience loads of memorable Easter fun and excitement—all while they discover the true events surrounding Jesus’ death and resurrection. Families will explore the wonderful “puzzle” of Easter at each station through challenging games, unique experiences, and fun gizmos designed to remind families that Jesus is alive!

Rise Up With Jesus takes place from 6 to 7:30pm on April 5, 2023. 

During this event, families will explore a number of stations in any order, collecting puzzle pieces at each station. The final piece is received at the climactic drama. Station Highlights incluce: 

• DARK to LIGHT ** you’ll perform a chromatography science experiment that reveals the rainbow of colors hidden in darkness.
• A DAZZLING DISCOVERY ** you’ll decorate and then try on Super Specs that’ll reveal a dazzling new look at the world!
• ENTER the TOMB ** Travel through Jesus’ tomb, learning about the sacrifice he made and searching for his body — only to find that it’s not there!
• MOVE the STONE ** Work together to complete a challenging obstacle course while moving a giant “stone” like the one in front of Jesus’ tomb.
• RISE UP! ** Launch High Flyers at targets and discuss the truth that Jesus is alive.
• The AMAZING TRUTH ** Discover how Jesus changes each of us.
