Sunlit Seasons: Embracing the Spirit of Summer by Giving

Schools are out, the days are longer, and the sun is shining brighter. Summer has arrived, and it’s time to wear sunglasses and flip-flops. Summer often sees a decrease in church attendance and giving, known as the “Summer Giving Slump.” This reduction can affect the church’s ability to finance ongoing work, plan future initiatives, and manage staff payments.
The summer giving slump correlates with reduced church attendance during the season. Many families travel or go on vacations, school is out, and regular weekly routines are disrupted. Consequently, overall church engagement drops in the summer.
One way to address this is by promoting recurring giving. Recurring donations simplify budgeting and support summer church activities. It aligns with our commitment to stewardship through sacrificial giving, as noted in Proverbs 3:9-10. Although some members may hesitate to use online services for recurring donations, our Breeze church management system ensures security and peace of mind for these transactions. If you are interested in setting up a recurring donation for the summer, please contact us for assistance. If you’d prefer to use your mobile phone, use the button below. We wish all families an enjoyable summer filled with travel, rest, and relaxation, and we look forward to seeing everyone at Sunday services.
